What worked for me was drinking a lot of water, I trippled my water consumption and using Clinique Scruffing Lotion applied with a cotton pad. Within 2 to 3 days, my skin dried up. Also try not to touch your face unless you are washing it.Help, i have a bad acne does anybody know what else i can try to get rid of it ?
I'm 13 and I have breakouts but not acne, but i'm sure this will work for you. Most creams and lotions normally have many chemicals in and seem to take for ever to clear the spots. I bought Clean %26amp; Clear and it really works. You wet your face and then massage the cream in hard, especially in the bad breakouts. Leave it on for about 5 - 10 minutes and then rinse of thoroughly. Use it morning and night and after about 3 days, you will notice a difference. This cream also prevents the breakouts and leaves your skin lovely and smooth.
If you get any rashes or skin reactions, then stop using it. You should do this for any cream the irritates your skin and then find another one.
Don't let these breakouts hold you back because you will regret it.
Hope this helps..........Rachel x
There is an strong antibiotic for Acne called Roacutane (pronounced ROW AC YOU TANE).
I doubt the doctor gave you this before because it is quite a powerful drug that can have side effects and it is also quite expensive. A treatment costs the NHS about 拢100 per month and you need it for at least six months so they don't give it out to everyone on the first visit.
However, I know of several people who have used Roacutane in the past after pushing the doctor and it has completely cleared up the acne.
I think it should be offered to all Acne patients because it works and can really improve your situation.
Good Luck!
If you really want to know, read this. Trust me its worth it, and it doesnt try to sell you anything. There are 10 parts. Its helping me and iv only been doing half of this stuff for about a week.
Basically it looks at humans not having the time to adapt to things like Pasturized dairy, Gluten, Some foods introduced to some races and how certain body types cant tolerate certain foods. Even talks about lightbulbs and how it effects out sleep patterns.

Also be sure to drink a ton of water. Buy a big 2-3 ltr just (or reuse one) and fill it up with water every morning, make sure its gone by the end of the night. Your body needs water to clean itself out better.
Dip a cotton ball in egg whites and apply on clean face, wait a few hours and wash. When washing your back use a loofah, sponge or exfoliant to help remove any dead skin cells that may clog up pores. Use a gentle action and don鈥檛 be too harsh otherwise you will end up breaking the skin. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/
You're 14. This is a juvenile thing. It happens almost to everyone and is gone after you come out of the ';awkward age';.
For now just take good care of your skin, eat healthy food, don't consume too much sweet things and semi-products.
Good luck!
if you're a girl then you could try going on the pill.(it controls your hormone levels)
but if you're a guy then it probably wouldn't work. lol
facial scrubs and exfoliaters are great, and wash every day.
lay off the fatty foods and stuff.
go back to the doctor, they will probably give you something called accutane. it works very well, but is not an antibiotic (like someone else said)
if the anitbiotics didnt work (were u regular with them) then ask the doc for accutane
Most people who suffer from acne go out and spend good money on common over-the-counter acne treatment products. The truth is, most of these products are full of chemicals that can actually slow down the healing of acne, and irritate your skin, causing farther breakouts. Here are a few tips to heal acne.

3.Crack an egg, removing the yolk so that just the egg whites are left behind. Beat these egg whites, and apply them directly to your face. Let it sit for fifteen minutes, and then rinse the egg off.
4.Aloe Vera has been used for many years in kitchens for topical application to burns. Another benefit of aloe is that it can prevent scaring, fade marks and help heal acne spots.
5.Each time you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks, to rid yourself of acne.
6.Soak cotton wool in mint juice, and apply every day.
7.Apply crushed marigold leaves on acne.
8.Boil and mash plums to get 8 teaspoons of pulp. Add a teaspoon of almond oil, and apply on the face.
9.Make a paste of turmeric powder, and apply evenly on the acne.
10.Mix together neem leaves paste, a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder, sandalwood paste and gram flour. Apply on the acne and let it dry well before rinsing.

The skin contains oil glands to keep itself moisturized. However, when these sebaceous glands overproduce, the excess oils lead to an excess of sebum, which in turn forms pimples and pustules on the skin鈥檚 surface. Skin pores can also become blocked, forming blackheads.
By addressing problem skin proactively, you can help control the problem and treat acne naturally.
The skin is not unlike other organs in the body that require good nutrients and balance for sustained health. Eating regular, healthy meals and drinking enough water can go a long way to providing the nutritional needs of skin cells and moisturizing the skin to act as a preventative natural acne remedy.
As the skin is sensitive to external factors (wind, temperature, and certain skin products), it is important to take these factors into account. Avoiding sunburn by wearing sunscreen and using a soothing compress when stressed can help contribute to managing skin flare-ups.
The following natural remedies can be very helpful in supporting and maintaining skin health:
Causticum hahnemanni (30C) (Potassium hydrate) is an astringent and should not be ingested in any form other than a properly formulated medicine. The remedy was discovered, developed, and proven by Dr. Hahnemann in the early 1800鈥檚.
Hepar sulphuris calcareum (30C) is a chemical combination of two remedies, Calcarea carbonica and Sulphur. Where suppuration seems inevitable, Hepar sulphuris may help to open an abscess. Skin affections of the Hepar sulphuris patient are extremely sensitive to the touch, often surrounded by little pimples or pustules spread by coalescing.
Carbo vegetabilis (30C) is said to help absorb toxins in the body. Carbo vegetabilis patients are usually identified by the characteristic engorgement of capillary circulation, meaning they become easily flushed through stimulation from food or drink.
Silicea (D6) is the fundamental ingredient of sandstone, and is also found in human and animal tissue, where it is used to strengthen bones and teeth. Silicea is very effective in helping the body to expel all foreign or toxic matter such as pus, and is frequently recommended in therapeutic dosage to quickly address boils.
