I have bad acne around my chin and sideburns not so much anywhere else does anyone have any advice??

I wash my face twice a day using clearasil ultra daily face wash and then i apply a topical gel with erythromycin and benzoyl peroxide. I have tried proactiv and oxy neither have helpedI have bad acne around my chin and sideburns not so much anywhere else does anyone have any advice??
take about four aspirin and dissolve them in a few drops of water.. add in a squirt of honey and make it into a paste.. you can also add in a few vitamin e capsules if ya like.. this can be used as a scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, and a spot treatment left on over night.. it works like pro active.. i've used both and got the same result with each which is clear skin.. pro active dried my skin out, but aspirin didn't.. it's a lot cheaper also..

oh.. and pro active contains benzoyl peroxide.. whereas aspirin contains salicylic acid .. so maybe the benzoyl peroxide just isn't working for you..

another thing i do as an exfoliate is i scrub my face with an electric toothbrush.. it's sounds kinda weird but it works.. it really cleans out your pores and removes dead skin, oil and dirt.. you can use any scrub ya like or the aspirin i mentioned.. i like to use st. ives (also contains salicylic acid).. and i do it about three times a week..

only wash your face when you wake up in the morning, before you go to bed, and after exercise.. excess washing makes your face produce extra oil..

warm water opens pores and cold closes them.. so wash with warm and rinse with cold..

drink lots of water.. eat healthy.. and take vitamin e, vitamin c, zinc and b vitamins..

hope this helps..I have bad acne around my chin and sideburns not so much anywhere else does anyone have any advice??
i use an acne product called ';zap zit'; and i had clearer skin the next day. and i bought it at walmart. and sometimes i use a dab of toothpaste on a zit and it dries it out really fast. good luck!
Having acne around the chin can sometimes mean a hormonal imbalance. If you've tried several different products and they don't work see a doctor.
Its possible that it is not acne at all. It could be what is called follculieritis, which is an infection of hair follicles usually caused by a bacteria or fungus. Its actually very common. The best treatment for this to go to the doctor and get an antibiotic or anti-fungal medicine.
if its specific to the chin and sideburn area, and none on your forehead or nose, then its probably acne in combination with razor burn, you shave, you get a couple small cuts, then cuts fill with acne bacteria, you shave again, some of the acne gets nicked, and then it just keeps getting worse and worse, talk to a doctor, and be more careful when you shave, if you cant talk to a doctor, try a pharmacist
