Is it bad to apply acne medications when you are sun burnt?

Is it bad i just want to knoe. what can happen if u doIs it bad to apply acne medications when you are sun burnt?
It isn't bad. It just isn't for the best.

It will probably cause your skin to be irritated by the medication slightly easier than it would if your skin wasn't sunburnt. You might experience more dryness and pealing.

Best thing is to wait until that sunburn eases up. Especially, when acne meds cause your skin to be more sensitive to the sun. You wouldn't want it to get worse!

If you must use it, however, make sure to apply plenty of sunscreen before going outside!!Is it bad to apply acne medications when you are sun burnt?
Oh, yeah- your skin will totally flake off like a phyllo dough pastry or similar. In fact, most acne meds actually tell you NOT to expose yourself unnecessarily to the sun when you're on them, because they are aware your face will fall off if you do. Not literally, of course, but so much skin will flake off that you'll sort of look like Freddy Krueger. Be careful with that!!!!
i think it would be, because your skin is already irritated by the sunburn. and if you put acne meds on top of that, it will just get even more irritated and may cause more acne. i would just put a nice moisturizer on that is calm and wont make your skin more irritated... cetaphil is a really good one, and pretty cheap!
it can irritate your skin. Not a good idea.
Most can sting- particularly if sunburnt

benzoyl peroxide can definitely sting and many other in liquid form have solvents hich can also be irritant. I would let the sunburn settle first
VERY BAD. Even though I haven't experienced it before i know that it will mess up your skin. So I wouldn't do it at the moment
Yep. Read the acne treatment case. Do not apply to irritated skin. Unless you want acne, burning, and red skin.
It somewhat depends on how you're skin would react to the application, and what the medication is.

For example I was sun burtn once and I applied the ';Clerasil Pads';, and it stung for a while.

Plus, applying medication to sunburn or exposing it to the sun is known to have caused irritation or dryness in skin
Yeah man..
It can cause more burning if you get in the sun, as the medication causing photo sensitivity. Use sun screen.
