I have very bad acne all over my face. What product is the best?

See a dermatologist.

I had acne, and I tried everything from proactiv to tea tree oil and nothing worked. My doctor gave me a prescription creme known as differin and that works.

I recommend using cetaphil face wash, and try clean and clear persa gel.I have very bad acne all over my face. What product is the best?
It depends on your skin as some products may or may not work. For me, when I was younger I would use Neutrogena which would just keep my skin clean and clear. When the hormones started kicking in, I got all these pimples around my forehead and cheeks, and no product worked for me. So I finally tried Proactiv and it helped clear the pimples, but after a few months it no longer had an affect and the pimples started again. I went back to Neutrogena / Clearasil (switching between products) and it helped lessen the pimples but left ugly red marks and pimples that grew under the skin. Finally, I went to a dermatologist and they have given me what my face needs. They provided me with all I need - cleanser, toner and moisturizer. The dermatologist also gave my a timetable in what time I would use the ';medicine'; - either am, pm or both. Sticking to this schedule, I no longer have break-outs, red marks or any pimples!

In conclusion, my advice to you is go to a dermatologist and see what they have to say about your skin. Therefore, you get the right answers that you deserve and help clear those pimples!

Good luck, bub.

P.S: If you are unable to afford to go to a dermatologist, I strongly advise Neutrogena, Clearasil or Cetaphil. I would only advise Proactiv if your acne is very serious and there are no other products that can help you.I have very bad acne all over my face. What product is the best?
There is no one product that works best. However, different products can work GREAT for different people. It all depends on your skin. Your best bet is to ask a dermatologist, they can reccommend both over-the-counter and prescription medications based on your skin type.

Some people take Accutane, a prescription pill for severe acne. It can have serious side effects though, and doctors are cautious about prescribing it. There are a number of topical creams and gels that you can use. Right now, I am using Differin gel 0.3. It is strong, and it takes a few months to get ideal results, but so far I think it is helping clear my pores. There are a number of different retinoids you can use. They are very strong, so follow a doctor's instructions thoroughly, or you could experience some major side effects.

Over-the-counter products are not as strong, but can still work well over time. Look for Neutrogena and Clean-and-Clear products for acne with benzoyl peroxide. Be careful not to overuse these because your sky will dry out severely, which doesn't help anything. It may take you several products before you find what's best for you. Good luck.
If it's really as bad as you make it out, no over the counter stuff will suffice.

I know this from personal experience.

Try visiting your doctor.

He could prescribe you with a two part treatment, a pill and face cream that really gets rid of the stuff.

You just have to make sure you don't forget to use it.
